In my short time as an elected I have been surprised by what is (is not) legislated / enforceable If it would get you fired in the private sector, it should get you fired in the elected space also. Harassment, violence, discrimination or racism warrant more than a peer vote.

Ferry travel... In good times and the not so great times is part of Pelee's identity that I have often thought is underrepresented in the Pelee story. I am pleased to see an effort to capture this unique part of island life that is at the heart of all we do.

Supporting each other doesn't mean blind faith or approval. It means... Support. I support women who lead with empathy + integrity. I support women that display courage in any form. I support women who lead authentically, even as they struggle to find their voice.

Thanks to a dear friend for gifting me a great read by @jacindaardern with encouragement for women who dare to define their own space. Ahead of #WomensDay, I am reading women who lead differently. With so few examples, I am always grateful to women who support women.

The Township works with conservation partners on best practices as needed + also acknowledges the right of individual landowners to naturalize their properties. I'm proud we are one the greenest, biodiverse Municipalities is the province. The more you know! 🌈

Roadsides, corners, utility easements and ditches are maintained to ensure line of sight, access, proper drainage, winter road maintenance and limit further destabilization of aging infrastructure. Habitat is not best located in the path of vehicles or within active dykes.
