@theladyfarmer That looks absolutely amazing. So much variety, it’s almost like a restaurant menu! No wonder British kids are fussy eaters when all they get in school is tomato pasta or fish and chips. This encourages children to try all foods. Do you know if it is locally sourced?

It’s difficult not to feel pretty cynical about these kind of requests from @DefraGovUK We fill out the survey.. Then they use it against us, to drop payments for environmental benefits to below the minimum cost ‘Because farmers love doing it’

@FarmersGuardian Great move. Grown-up decision-making by DEFRA even admitting staff need ag training, and great provision via a proper, working farm with broad applications, sectors, and above all data.

We all moan about DEFRA not having a clue about farming, this might be one step to help with that. I might put myself forward to teach dairy skills for £450k! 🙂
