When a victim stands up for themselves, it challenges the bully's sense of power and control, exposing their vulnerabilities. This reaction can stem from the bully's own experiences of inadequacy or a desire to maintain dominance in social situations.

Don't confuse a smear campaign with the victims story. The victim sharing their story is just that, the Truth of what happened to them. This is not a "smear campaign." A smear campaign is complete lies or lies " by omission." that a bully uses to discredit their victims.

Workplace bullies often resent empaths because empaths can sense and understand emotions, exposing the bullies' manipulative behaviors. This threatens the bully's need for control, as empaths create a supportive environment that disrupts the bully's power, resulting in hostility.

Workplace bullies selectively & intentionally target people who are competent, people they see as threats to themselves. Possibly the sweetest act of kindness you'll see today. A family had electricians in and their little boy was obsessed with them. He hounded them with questions, kindness and constant offers to help. The little boy received this from them.
