New #Ebola case in Beni, DR Congo is not a new spillover. Great work by @PlacideMbala, @labgenpath, @Inrb_goma, and others showed the new case is linked to the 2018-2020 Nord Kivu outbreak.

When I got COVID a few weeks ago, I wanted to know how far out to cancel my plans.
1. how long would it take to be rapid-test negative?
2. if I was still rapid-positive at 10 days, was I likely to be infectious?
