#Delirium occurs more than 1 in 3 of patients in the last days of life. Recognition matters—it allows us to address reversible causes while managing symptoms compassionately when reversal isn't possible.

Delirium has a visibility problem, not just a diagnostic one. For reasons that remain unclear to me we collectively walk by the suffering caused by #delirium without truly seeing it.
