We found that a diversity of caregivers (i.e. having more than 1 caregiver interacting with the child) predicted stronger EF skills. This highlights the need to be critical of using Western-derived parenting (nuclear) as the norm for both measurement and interventions.

We also decided to do the right thing and report the crime to the police to add to the statistics accurately. My partner has been at the police station for 5 hours now, trying to report 1 crime…

Our home has been broken into 3 times in 2 weeks, last night our dog woke us up and we saw a guy hanging off our balcony outside our bedroom sliding door. I am so angry, but at the same time feel a sense of guilt about being angry at people who are stealing to make ends meet. 🇿🇦
