@remmy_308 I have a resident one and a visitor. It’s such a great experience watching them getting upto their nightly antics 🙂 And like you I feel extremely lucky that they choose my garden to come to always making sure there’s enough food for all 🦔🤎

BBC really should know better than to broadcast this propaganda. It's a con. This 'reseach' is being sold to the public as somehow helping hedgehogs. It does nothing of the kind. It helps the researchers to some very profitable grants, that's all. We know all we need to know about hedgehogs, how they move, how they feed, and what's killing them. We know they have to cross roads. Instead of satisfying student curiosity and making a huge profit in grants for 'researchers', the money would be better spent making wildlife crossings. And detection dogs? To hunt out their victims? Disgraceful. Utterly appalling. All good rescues are disgusted by this abuse and exploitation of these defenceless creatures. By the way, it sounds like it's an Irish initiative, doesn't it? More disinformation. In fact it's being run by the infamous Nottingham Trent University, who have already tortured and killed many hedgehogs (see below). They were exposed for their cruelty in England, so they are now exploiting the Irish hedgehogs. As you can see, they've been milking this particular money cow for over 10 years, and have still not implemented one single protection for hedgehogs, or helped them in any way whatsoever.

The hedgehog gods aren't on my side today 😩....this poor girl has been 'looked after' in a shed for 2 days having been found out in the day ....she's got wounds to her face, is emaciated and severely dehydrated #hedgehog

@cazbarnes47 Thanks Caroline. Terry named him Blounce 🤗. Blounce was admitted on the day Terry visited a beautiful village close by (called Blounce). And we couldn’t think of a better name for this darling boy 💙

Blounce is an adult male who most likely struggled through the winter. His finder has a wildlife📷which helped to save his life. Blounce has been here for 5 days; his breathing remains severely compromised. The meds are working, but this poor boy is so sick, he needs more time😢

Muffin came in a couple of days ago after a dog attack, but amazingly she had no injuries, just a little sore and shocked. An ultrasound scan revealed she’s heavily pregnant with at least 5 hoglets! She’s now on her way to a release site so she can have her hoglets in the wild.

This man and the team of people around him are just amazing! Rocky is just one of the dogs they have helped get their life back, they receive love daily, good food, shelter and most of all their dignity back. #streetdogs #love #food #happydoggo #thailand
