@cb1994s @camtrublue @ibroxrocks Yeah I'd agree with most of that. Based on previous comments it doesn't really surprise me. He feels he's had a raw deal from the board and therefore unrealistic expectations. He chose to sign a new deal though so he knew the script. PR matters less when you are doing well.

A lot of things can be true at same time. Rangers have improved since nadir of Dundee Utd and are going into a big week in an upbeat mood. The manager deserves credit for changing things. The manager also said a daft thing in an interview which he will likely walk back soon.

@CPO55 @camtrublue @ibroxrocks When you manage the OF there’s certain things you should just avoid saying given the nature of the clubs and support, and that’s definitely one of them. Fans will expect PC to get that by now and the fact he hasn’t will just feed the fan dismay at the moment.

You don’t come out and openly state it in an interview, nor days after an AGM, or days before an OF cup final as the manager of Rangers. The fact he’s brought it into the light just implies a defeatist attitude.

@camtrublue @ibroxrocks He literally states “Maybe financially out of our league, the two games”. By two games he obviously means Spurs and Celtic hence why fans are unhappy with his comments. Don’t understand how you’re misinterpreting that.

@ibroxrocks He didn’t say we are miles off competing with BOTH teams - he clearly inferred facing off with an EPL team 3 days before a domestic final wasn’t what we have the squad for. Obviously the self loathing element of our fans will leap on this opportunity for misery with glee.

Comfortable without doing anything special. Spurs on Thursday but it’s all about the cup final for me. All about momentum. Igamane probably the MOTM.
