In-state prep schools in Texas need to go out of town to get their players. The best prep programs in the country don’t have a roster full of local talent.
Go to other states and grab them Ike they coming here. These parents don’t trust the preps here for whatever reason

@SAFinestbball @TheTB5Reports Has to be in line and not done the cheapest way. The next part is being sustainable is one reason for lack of trust. None that I have been part of or seen in Texas have been playing a elite schedule with elite players for consecutive years. This is why the NIBC teams win out

@SAFinestbball @TheTB5Reports At the end of the day to do it the right way several pieces have to match and work together. The school from top to bottom has to be on board for what is trying to be done. The school has to identify the purpose for doing it and can’t be just ego driven. Housing, Meals etc.

I don’t know if San Antonio basketball can ever get out of its own way to be a relevant city in basketball compared to its population. I now understand not all but a lot of the coaches can’t tell talent and feelings are softer then most babies bottoms

Does San Antonio as a city hate talent… It always seems to leave because the city being high school coaches do not embrace it. Look at St. Anthony, Cornerstone, Langston Love, Big Vince and the list will continue to grow if you continue down the path you are on.

I hate the statement Athletic Reasons. What is the difference in a family making a decision for athletics vs academics vs band? It is what is best for your child and their future which by the way is the future for all of us. The more the child succeeds the more we as a society do

I know it’s a tough job to do rankings this year, but there is no way there are 50-plus better players in the country than Arterio Morris. In fact, maybe not 10 better. Talented guard who can do it all. Great feel, size, athleticism, can shoot it, tough. Absolutely love this kid

Every player is different. I wish in grass roots we as coaches and addvice givers would stop trying to put every talent in a cookie cutter mold. All are different due to environment and need different things!! Just thoughts..
