Canada's Department of National Defence has confirmed the deaths of 2 missing air personnel after a military helicopter crash early Tuesday. cbc.ca/1.6882992

BREAKING | The two missing crew members from the military helicopter that crashed near Garrison Petawawa have been found and did not survive, according to the Department of National Defence.

The @TownofPetawawa says it has stopped taking water from the Ottawa River as a precaution after the crash and has banned non-essential watering, such as for lawns or gardens. Pembroke and Laurentian Valley ask residents to conserve water. cbc.ca/1.6882094

UPDATE | A helicopter crashed into the Ottawa River near Garrison Petawawa during training this morning, according to the Department of National Defence. Of the 4 people on board, 2 are in hospital and 2 are missing.
