I see a lot of the Chris Ballard talk on twitter so I’ll offer my opinion… I think Ballard is a great talent evaluator his ability to find talent in the draft especially mid to late round which is most difficult he excels, however his approach to player acquisition through free agency is not ideal and also stubbornness to attack weaknesses on the roster is a problem.. I think he believes too strongly in some guys and that gets him in trouble and his conviction is what blinds him to deficiencies that exist within the roster.. I think he’s a solid GM but definitely has his flaws and deserves some critique for sure
