Another beautiful day to buy Ambea at 8x EV / EBITDA
Normally, we'd go through the usual bear arguments of "oh it's a value trap blah blah blah"
In this case, unlike most Nordic equities, Ambea just doesn't care and keeps blasting away buying back it's own shares.
Swedish interest rates are super low, so it makes even more sense for Ambea to finance acquisitions, and then use the cash flow to repurchase its own shares. I have banged the table on this name since the 60s, and I am also banging the table on it at 108.

Another new high on Ambea. Not sure if you gents saw, but Ambea just acquired Validia, the top social care company in Finland. Ambea continues to be a "compounder" / "rollup" trading at a deep value multiple. They paid about 9x for it, but in typical fashion will be able to lever it up with some debt following the closing of the transaction. The deal will not impact the dividend policy, or Ambea's already sizeable share repurchase program. I have a rule against buying debt collectors, nursing homes, or funeral services companies in the United States, but that doesn't apply globally. The company continues to trade around 7x Adjusted Free Cash Flow, and I think even after the 100% run up from my original past 12 months ago, the shares are undervalued.
