Celebration Time! For nearly 42 years, it has been my honor to deliver weather forecasts to Georgians. The Lord has blessed me with a career that has exceeded my dreams and expectations. I will be retiring as your Chief Meteorologist at FOX 5 Atlanta in late April. I am excited for this next season which includes dinners with my wife every night, making memories with my 3 granddaughters, family trips, reconnecting with old friends, and more time to care for my elderly parents. It will take some time to reflect on my life in the tv news business, so many people have influenced me, and I hope I have returned the favor to the next generation. There is a lot more to be said in the coming weeks, but I wanted to share this announcement with you now. A simple thank you to the viewers will never be enough, but it’s my start.
