@AmeliaForty Thank you ❤️ And that’s the word I couldn’t come up with. I definitely felt belittled and honestly embarrassed that this was happening in front of students. So unnecessary. And I’m sure he didn’t “realize” that I’m a professor too. But even so, you don’t act like that to people

I was disrespected by another professor today. It’s taking time to process exactly why I felt so upset. (And if you’re wondering, yes he was) Perhaps it was the attitude he caught when I told him that we had the room booked, while my students were actively meeting in said room

Caught a fado show at Cafe Luso in Bairro Alto last night. Fado is traditional Portuguese folk music. The iconic sound is from the special fado guitar which comes from the 13th century citole. So beautiful. My favorite performer is the first pic and last video.

Meanwhile, Lisbon is gorgeous.
