College Baseball vert inflation makes for some pretty cool pitches. @TexasBaseball closer Thomas Burns was bringing the heat to close the game yesterday. Burns averaged 97 mph with >23” of vert on his heater. Let me say that again… he averaged over 23” of IVB in his Fastball. Burns throws from an OTT slot, grading his heater at 119 Stuff+.
