First Global Recipient of “Wake Up or Be Left Behind” Today, I have the distinct privilege of becoming the first global recipient of a signed copy of “Wake Up or Be Left Behind” by Prof. @ReachDrMuganga. This remarkable work is more than just a book—it is a bold call to action for Africa’s education systems, institutions, and leaders to rethink how we prepare learners for a rapidly evolving world. Prof. Muganga challenges conventional approaches to education and advocates for practical, skills-based learning, innovation, and a stronger alignment between academia and real-world demands. As someone deeply involved in higher education and institutional development, this message resonates strongly with me. The book speaks directly to the urgent need for transformation in how we design curricula, engage students, and position our institutions for global relevance. I look forward to diving deeper into its insights and sharing key takeaways that can help shape the future of education in Uganda and beyond.
