I understand the benefits of getting Paige Bueckers off the ball at times But idk how you see this game and not want the ball in her hands as much as possible Liking this much more than the Atlanta game

@cc22report Thank you for reevaluating. You take the good with the bad with Tash. Her stats dwarf Billings' for their careers. For all of Tash's errors, she also does things others don't do. Very curious at the end of the year who looks better. 26 points! Great stats

@cc22report She’s a preferential upgrade.
Mo knows her role and won’t try to do more than she capable of doing
Flash still thinks she’s mvp caliber and the Fever just needed her to be a supporting cast member

Tough game to know what to make of
Paige obviously the best player on the court by a million miles
But defense is apparently optional in Dallas
And Arike and O are two notoriously streaky and inconsistent shooters
When they get a magnet, the offense is historically good
When they don't, you get... well you get this
Good news for Indy is that both Arike and O had gigantic magnets strapped to their back and half our team was either out or on minutes restriction and they still only won by 3

I am not one of those people who thinks CC is great and all of her rivals stink
Quite the opposite, the better her rivals, the more satisfying it is when CC triumphs
Paige played fantastic this game
If she can keep this up and Caitlin can keep doing what she has been doing
We might have a McGuire/Sosa situation on our hands
And wouldn't that be something

Dallas is currently on pace to put almost 120 on a Cheryl Reeve coached team
Will they actually do this? Probably not
But the fact that they are in the zip code speaks volumes to how good this offense can be
And at some point this season they actually are gonna put 120 on some hapless team

The fact that Caitlin is averaging 22/8/4.5 on 45% shooting from the field while shooting sub-20 % from 3 actually speaks to her improvement + a balance her game previously lacked. Asked her about it here (youtu.be/H__Fvu2DRt0?t=…) Legit critiques of her game are fair and there’s an interesting convo to be had about what the future looks like if the logo threat disappears but some of this stuff is just living in the past
