@NICKWATTS__ It’s tough cause I love the game of football, but so tired of seeing the liberal slogans on the fields and backs of helmets.. I might back off next year. Don’t want to give in and let the libs “win” but I’ve also got a family I can do more productive things for than watch TV tbh

“Go out… and compel them to come in.” —Jesus, Luke 14:23. Persuade with love; eternity’s at stake.

My new favorite text scam is when you get a text of an alleged parking violation or toll violation from a state you have never been to. Just another day in 2026.

@gregstier 🤣 and definitely agree that even recognition of our inability and need is a work of His Grace, as the quote points out. Actually also in John 6, verse 44 I believe would back all that up.

Have you heard the quote from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, “When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die"? That’s NOT the first call of Christ. That’s his second call. His first call is to “Come and live.” “Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.” John 6:47 The first call is for justification. The second is for sanctification. To mix those up leads to a confused gospel.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply! I would say John 3:16 then Luke 9:23. Our surrender to him flows out of a rooted faith in Christ. Here’s how Martin Luther put it, “No one can be good and do good unless God's grace first makes him good; and no one becomes good by works, but good works are done by him who is good. Just as the fruits do not make the tree, but the tree bears the fruit...Therefore all works, no matter how good they are and how pretty they look, are in vain if they do not flow from grace.”

@HolyPost_Media @jamestalarico If you agree with this, it’s not abandoning values or convictions because you never had Biblical values or convictions to begin with. Pray for Grace and repent. Partnering with pro-choice is partnering with the prince of darkness and of this world.

Many pro-life Christians assume there’s no place for them in the Democratic Party. But @jamestalarico welcomes them, saying there may be more common ground than meets the eye. It's essential that Christians learn how to work together with others committed to justice, diversity, and equal rights, even when we don’t agree on every issue. That doesn’t mean abandoning our values and convictions. It means we're willing to work across differences and set tribal politics aside to serve the common good in a complex, pluralistic society. The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot. When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193). Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.

Let’s face it. If you were silent when tens of thousands of Iranians were slaughtered in two days, but now — when the US and Israeli armies are eliminating their killers — you suddenly feel morally obliged to oppose the war (I call it a humanitarian intervention because people inside Iran asked for it), something is wrong. Maybe your hatred of Israel and Trump is stronger than your love for humanity. Maybe your morals tell you that tens of thousands of Iranians are acceptable collateral damage because Khamenei was (supposedly) the biggest enemy of the US and Israel. If this is how you oppose this war, please reflect on your values. Human lives are equal — unless someone lives to kill others, as Khamenei did. The videos shows how people of Iran are cheering for the death of their butcher, last night.
