@ccardwilliams @AA_stabilisiert @flaviogortana @kaldera Thank you! The three color map is plain svelte/d3 rendered to canvas 😃 I was also surprised we got the three layers to work so nicely. The trick was to offset each layer slightly so overlap is minimized.

@moritz_stefaner @enjalot "good design sense" is something I've heard mentioned and even seen on job descriptions, but it's hard to describe concretely. does "design sense" capture what you're thinking about here, or are there other dimensions to what you mean by "taste"?

@enjalot That’s a great point. Somehow it’s always treated as implicitly emerging through practice/exposure but there’s not much theory around it compared to talent and skill.

growing up I heard a lot about talent and skill but no one told me about taste it feels like a key thing to have for making good things. also seems like it can be developed I've noticed best devs and designers I've worked with have very strong taste for what they make

@SylviaTomiyama I was trying to figure out what sort of UI / vis people would find interesting to evaluate their guesses. I think if it gives you the exact optimal answer it's boring, but if you could visualize the possible result set for your guess(es) it could be interesting
