Today, City Council passed the FY26 budget. Here are a few key highlights I was proud to advocate for:

Pleasant Ridge's business district is seeing lots of new development and retail. I'm thrilled the residents and community council were able to play such a large role in the planning process for these projects. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #PleasantRidge #Ridge #Cincinnati

Over this past weekend about 100 cars gathered to block the streets and engage in dangerous behavior. That is why I put forward a motion today to strengthen our laws on street takeovers and keep residents safe.

Cincinnati was expecting a new state of the art NIOSH facility in Uptown until the Trump Administration cut funding for the project. Our city deserves workers to keep us safe, and that is what this development was meant to do. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #Cincinnati #NIOSH #explore

The administration released our Complete Street report for 2025 today. Lots of great work being done - over 94,000 sq ft of sidewalks paved or repaired and over 900 safety improvements made.

Oakley Station was once the site of the Cincinnati Milacron plant, the world's largest machine tool company in the mid-1900's. It has seen dramatic redevelopment, and is now home to over 70-acres of residential, retail, and office space. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #Oakley #Cincinnati

The Oakley Square is a beautiful and historic center of the neighborhood surrounded by restaurants, shops, and a theater from 1941. Many things have changed in Oakley over the years, but the square remains a nice area to enjoy the neighborhood. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #Oakley #Cincy

Hyde Park has some amazing assets in Cincinnati, including a large portion of the Wasson Way trail. This will be a small section of the CROWN - a 34 mile urban loop for pedestrians and bikers alike to move around the city. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #HydePark #Cincinnati

Hyde Park is an amazing neighborhood on the East Side of Cincinnati that recently updated their neighborhood plan. The historic square was created in the late 19th century and is still home to some great local businesses. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #HydePark #Cincinnati

I was happy to vote to approve TIF Funds for the PRDC to acquire these sites along Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge. This is an exciting development opportunity to catalyze growth in Pleasant Ridge's business district.

"Praying the Steps" is an annual tradition in Mt. Adams which has been celebrated for over 150 years and Playhouse in the Park was one of the first regional theatres in the United States. Mt. Adams is home to some amazing cultural landmarks in Cincinnati. #Jeffreyswalksthe52

The Cincinnati Art Museum is a historic gem in Eden Park and always free to enter. Their Art in Bloom event next month will bring thousands of people here from all over the region, proving this is a premier attraction in the city. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #MtAdams @cincyartmuseum

Great exhibit at the Kennedy Heights Art Center surrounding the different kinds of grief in a variety of different expressions. This is a free display of local artists running until March 14th. Stop by if you can!

Eden Park is a Cincinnati classic located in between the neighborhoods of Walnut Hills and Mt. Adams. Even in this weather, it's a nice spot to walk around and see some historic sights like the Presidential Grove. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #WalnutHills #Cincinnati #EdenPark

The Hoffman School is a beautiful historic structure in Evanston that I tried to preserve on Council back in 2023. The building has been vacant but I still believe there is a path to turn this amazing structure into housing. #Jeffreyswalksthe52 #Evanston #Cincinnati
