Our hearts are also heavy with the Latinx community. We didn’t forget Adam Toledo. Police brutality happens at a disproportionate rate to Brown and Black folks. #JusticiaParaAdam #JusticeForAdam

Our Black community deserves the space to heal... but how can they when every other day someone was wrongfully murdered? This is exactly why racial trauma exists on a collective level in the Black community. Because it never really stopped, the trauma is generational.

It’s not justice when only one of them is acquitted and another Black life was taken away from us on the same day. Accountability is not justice. The justice and law enforcement system needs to be reformed. #SAYHERNAME Rest in Power #MAKHIABRYANT ✊🖤
