@MartinSLewis What we are suffering right now is a cost of housing crisis. Yes food and power have gone up but the reason many find them unaffordable even on decent salaries is that the cost of housing has been allowed to skyrocket. Lenders have rubbed their hands 35yr deals at 6 times salary.
