It’s time to turn the page, America, and chart a new way forward 🇺🇸

I often hear folks say, “Donald Trump sent me a check during the pandemic.” I want to make sure you understand this: Congress sent you a check. By the way, Joe Biden also sent you a check during the pandemic, just like I gave people relief during the Great Recession. The difference is that we didn’t put our names on it – because it wasn’t about feeding our egos or advancing our politics, it was about helping people. So don’t be giving him credit for that. And don’t give him your vote, either. There’s only one candidate in this election who cares about you, and that’s Kamala Harris.

John McCain and I didn’t always agree, but he understood that some values transcended parties. He knew that if we got in the habit of bending the truth to suit political expediency or party orthodoxy, our democracy will not work. John McCain had character. That’s what I think about so much these days because it’s so different from what we see out of the Republican nominee.

With our Plan for Rural America: We’ll recruit 10,000 more rural health care professionals and increase access to affordable and high-quality health care in rural communities. We’ll make sure independent pharmacies can stay open — and build 3,000 more, so rural communities can get the medications they need. We’ll support the sandwich generation to care for our elders at home and lower the cost of child care. We’ll support family farmers and help ensure future generations of American farmers can thrive by helping beginning farmers get more access to credit, and connecting them with all sorts of training and technical assistance.
