I’ve worked with Tencent and NetEase, so I can confidently say this DMCA is fake. Kuro Games would never use Outlook to issue a DMCA, because they have their official kurogames. com domain. Also, I’m sure this wasn’t done by the HoYo community. To file a DMCA, you have to log into your X account—this has never happened before. Kuro Games should launch a team to investigate and find the people behind this.. #Wutheringwaves

Big update, artist shared the DMCA takedown email and it looks like someone is impersonating Kuro for these, "Intellectual Property Manage", the email not being @kurogames.com but rather outlook, I know outlook works in China but extremely weird to not use the company domain for things like these.

The situation with copyright strikes to artists is not over, another artist got hit by it but there's some things to note: * The illustration didn't have any character shipping on it, won't post it but you can find it on their pixiv, it's just Chisa and Aemeath hanging out with FRover in the back. * It's another korean artist, haven't heard of other cases so far but seems like they're being targeted. I'm wondering if it has something to do with Pong mentioning not feeding their pieces to AI. Maybe there's a company that is throwing these copyrights

原神が他作品からインスパイアされてることはリリース当初から散々言われて知ってるけどそれはリスペクトしている作品のオマージュ。鳴潮原神の声優被せ必殺技演出フレーム被せの丸パクリ全開でゲーム作ってんのは話が別。原神は最終的に独自の世界観とストーリーで化けてるし天と地の差がありますね。
