What's your favorite underrated gadget, tool, or tech item you've discovered recently? Nothing mainstream—just genuinely cool stuff most people don't know about!

@SnazzyLabs @Tyler_Design1 A few weeks ago in a store, the Windows laptops all looked dull. Every single one, glossy or not. In the Apple Store the difuasion(?) was too much for me to choose the option on my MacBook Pro. Love the idea but couldn’t make the switch myself.

@Tyler_Design1 Who cares? It’s effectively the same. It has a lousier contrast ratio and it ruins the display’s perceived sharpness.

@heaintwong @andres_vidoza Looks like they only sent the nano texture ones out for review so not surprised it’s been mentioned lots. I’m more aware of the glare the past week because it’s being talked about but not really bothered me at all in the previous 17 years of MacBook ownership 😂

@cchana @andres_vidoza Yea I remember thinking something similar when I saw the nano texture on an iPad Pro..but given the amount of hype it seems to have been getting from reviews; I thought maybe they had improved it 😅

@heaintwong @andres_vidoza Haven’t seen it on the MacBook yet but I was in store when they announced it and went straight to the nano texture displays. For me there a noticeable softening of the screen so I passed on the option when ordering. I only ever work inside so glare is rarely a problem for me.
