21-year old Joshua Maldonado of Haines City was #ArrestedByThePolkCountySheriffsOffice on Sunday, October 27th in Poinciana. A PCSO deputy conducted a traffic stop on Maldonado's black 2005 Infiniti Q45 at around 3:28pm Sunday, as it was traveling, in circles, in the area of Dogwood Road and Violet Court. Maldonado thought it would be a great idea to do donuts in the intersection of Marigold Avenue and Bayberry Street and then again at the intersection of Dogwood and Violet. The deputy who saw Maldonado doing this, didn't think it was a great idea. Maldonado told the deputy that he was doing the donuts because he was testing his tires for a racing event in Orlando. He told the deputy that he didn't have a valid driver's license, the tag on the car was not his tag, the car was unregistered, and he had no motorists insurance. Josh Maldonado was arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, while his vehicle was towed away to car jail. One might hope that Josh will learn his lesson after getting charged with one felony and four misdemeanors from this episode, but he's already listed as a habitual offender for DWLSR with three prior convictions, so who knows? #PCSO #PolkSheriff #CopsLikeDonutsButNotThatKindOfDonuts #LooksLikeHisNewTiresWereGood #JoshWasNot
