Officer Tyler Thomas and Officer Eddie Gibney attended the Georgia PTA District 13 Spring Conference Award ceremony last night. Help us congratulate them both for receiving the Visionary Award for River Ridge HS and Teasley MS.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Fulton County School Districts Safety and Security Department. They came and shared how they run their Campus Security Associate program with us. They have a great program and left us with a lot of wonderful information.

Officers Brown and Conrad were on double duty this morning at Etowah HS, ensuring that the Boston and Oak Grove students were seen safely in to watch the production, and then doubling as bodyguards for Cinderella and her entourage.

Cpl. Buffkin had a little helper while doing her security checks at Little River ES that she assisted back to her kindergarten class! "A truly amazing SRO is hard to find, difficult to part with and impossible to forget" Thank You Cpl. Buffkin!

Officers Hood and Thomas had a little bet going on for the Creekview vs. River Ridge game Friday night. The officer at the losing school had to wear the spirit wear of the winning school. Officer Hood from Creekview, sported the Knights blue and gold well at the end of the night!

We want to Congratulate Officer Mike Dames on his Retirement from the US Coast Guard after 21 years of service. Officer Dames started with CSPD in 2018 where he just recently completed 1.5-year deployment at the Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C.

Officer Thomas was recognized by the Canton Moose Lodge as 2024 Officer of the Year for our Department. Thank You Officer Thomas for all of your hard work and dedication to the department.
