After a wonderful afternoon and evening on the British Pullman with our dear friends we headed to Canal Street for a few last drinks. On our short walk back to the Dakota Hotel on Ducie Street four lads of possible Middle Eastern original attacked us both to steal Wes’s Rolex watch. It happened so fast and they ran off once they got it off him. Wes is badly bruised and cut but we’re thankful it wasn’t more serious. We’ve always felt safe when visiting Mcr but these guys were lying in wait for people at the top of Canal Street and were hassling people ahead of us earlier on. We’re obviously devastated and shell shocked but my Wes will be ok. Highlighting here because people need to be aware of this…

After an eventful few months we are back onboard P&O Britannia for a cruise to Norway 🇳🇴 Our first ever obstructed balcony and it's not bad at all. About 30% obstruction in total so a good cheaper alternative to a standard balcony cabin.

I met Petter in Ibiza in 2006. This weekend I came back to tell the people who knew us, the staff at the hotel where we stayed every year, the restaurant we used to eat at, the beach where we went. People have been wonderful, and the pain excruciating at times. I miss him.
