Then we have to negotiate with states for resettlements and funds for refugee camps. Palestinians and Rohingyas are in the same plight. And jika nak halau, halau to?

There are currently over 219,000 of them...and you expect them to willingly walk into refugee camps/shelter or whatever you want to call it? Then what? Feed them with our hard-earned tax money? For how long? They’ve been here since the 1970s. There was a mass exodus in the 1990s, and the latest big wave hit between 2015 and 2017. Dude...they even trying to build a tiny community town for themselves now. You call that a solution? Keeping them here indefinitely is not a solution...it’s a disaster for our national sovereignty. Their numbers soon will surpasses orang asal (orang asli).

@LohongMinda @Iqtodabal 1. Recognise them as refugees. Provide them shelter, grant them refugee and economic rights. 2. Lead ASEAN to denounce the military junta, apply sanctions if necessary. 3. Dialogue with the G8 on resettlement matters if need be. 4. Bring the issue to the UN Security Council.
