CDC works with the Central TB Reference Laboratory in Tanzania 🇹🇿 to integrate sustainable and quality systems for tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics across the country, enabling rapid and more accurate test results.

The 2024 Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (VACS) results show that since 2009, violence against children is declining and Tanzanian children are better protected today than ever before. The VACS is the product of more than 15 years of close scientific collaboration between the U.S. Government and the Government of Tanzania, with funding from PEPFAR and CDC. The United States is proud to partner with Tanzania in ensuring a brighter, safer future for all children. #MoCDGWSG #MoCDGCE #NBS #OCGS @maendeleoyajami @jamiismz @NBSTanzania @thpstz @UNICEFTanzania @CDCTanzania
