@StartMcBride @mikewach32 so throwing shade at Jazz makes him racist? Lol, so what he doesn't like the guy. It probably didn't need to be said, but racism is just everyone's go to reason anymore...lazy take

@mikewach32 You missed my point. Yankees fans aren’t calling all Guardians fans racist. They are calling Tom racist. You are calling all Yankees fans racist for something one fan (or a group of fans) said to Kwan.

It's so crazy to me how Yankee fans are calling Tom Hamilton racist for what he said about Jazz Chisholm (Hammy probably didn't know he was doing it for charity tbh) yet they were the ones who called Steven Kwan literal SLURS and threw bottles at him

@kevinleeus @elonmusk so basically every minority in every social situation is racially disadvantaged no matter what...just say that instead of all the hand wringing about whites vs all other races

Are whites truly a minority in the US and UK? Absolutely not. I live in the US, and if I had the choice, I would rather have been born a white man because it still comes with significant advantages in everyday life. If you’re a white man and have no desire to be another race or gender, that suggests your race and gender still carry privileges. The dynamics are changing, but Black Americans are still born with social disadvantages and remain a minority group. We often give greater protection to children because they are more vulnerable. Murdering an adult is terrible, but murdering a child is generally considered even worse because the victim is more vulnerable and has had less chance to live their life.

@KonstantinKisin George Floyd has nothing to do with this. He was an innocent man just trying to make a living, brutally murdered by police for being black.

Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan. George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British. Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events. And we all know why. During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way. They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin. And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his. This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin. This needs to stop.

@ByJasonLloyd If the browns pick isnt in the top 3, that 30th from the rams isnt getting you there. If the plan was to tank thats fine but why hire a 60 year old first time head coach then?

Sounds like some would rather a ‘28 1st than Verse. Not me. Draft picks are unknown. You already know Verse is a terrific young player who fits the Browns timeline. They now have the 2 most recent Defensive Rookies of the Year and the ‘27 1st is trade capital to get QB. Win-win.

@QED76 @ByJasonLloyd @C_H1014 Myles is worth those picks plus Verse. No other tram would have offered that much for MG despite what the homer fans think for his 5-6 "Flash" games per year against the worst and most overwhelmed LTs in the league.

@namelessgrayfac @cfx56 @ByJasonLloyd Myles got 12 sacks in 3 games, 14 in 4 games...all Ls except against a bad LV team...what a difference maker! Sorta like having a Ferrari in lieu of owning a home...totally unnecessary on this team, take the younger player worth 2 firsts and three more picks to round out roster

@KenCarman I think you do what Myles wants. He’s earned that. Players like him are generational. He’s been exceptional with the media and the community. He’s a first ballot HOFer. He’s still in his prime. He’s THE team leader.

I hate this. I don’t want it to happen. I understand that the haul might be too good to pass on. I also don’t want to torpedo the season or make fans more upset than what they already are. Either do it now/tomorrow or don’t because I can’t do this silly stuff all summer

@KenCarman "torpedo the season" lol. O/U is 6.5 wins with or without MG, 5th lowest in the league. The hyperbole and pearl clutching is real

🚨🚨🚨 Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me. In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

@taylortolliver @KenCarman @kingery1958 The NFL isn’t like the NBA where one player changes everything buddy. Getting rid of him makes fixing the defense more difficult if (and you’re still on if and not when) you get a QB. You just traded away the best pass rusher in existence

@KenCarman @kingery1958 idk, he is 1 guy on a 53 man roster...sure he is great but he cant win 10 games for this team. Not sure trading him makes the team worse particularly if the return is suitable.

@kingery1958 if you only won a few games with him, just think of how few you'd win without him. Trading him doesn't make this 2026 team better.

@WeAreCavsNation No. Time to consider all options. One thing this team needs is more trust in their younger stars. 🌟

@WeAreCavsNation no, and it would be foolish for the Cavs to make that happen and somehow believe they are championship contenders with him as a #1 as a one way small guard that doesn't move off the ball

@thewhiteowl777 @WeAreCavsNation Jerome would have fit in well with this team...slow, poor ball handling, no defense, and poor shooting when the lights get bright and a focused effort from defense
