Bharatha Natyam is a Tamil classical dance-drama in which the language of hand gestures and body movements is used to convey meaning and expression. Devadasis (servants of God) performed in temples. The countless sculptures carved into temple walls speak to this rich history.

We begin with the singing of both the Canadian and Tamil anthem. We unite in joy, celebration, diversity and the enduring spirit of the Tamil people throughout this month! @TDSB_Tamil @ghumanh2o @TDSB_MHWB @TDSBDirector
