We met with @cdiaz916 in the office of California Senate President pro Tempore @ilike_mike to celebrate Women’s History Month 🍎 More than three-quarters of educators are female. #AB2901 would provide pregnancy leave and help retain educators during a historic educator shortage!

Our state’s unions have made significant strides for CA workers this year! I met with Yvonne Wheeler of @LALabor, Joel Barton of @IBEWLocal11, Ernesto Medrano of @LAOC_BTrades, Mark Ramos of @UFCWWSC8, and other LA Labor leaders to discuss their victories and continued work!

Great meeting today with local labor leaders in Fresno! We’re committed to working together to ensure that workers get the pay, benefits, and protections they deserve.

It was great to meet with the new president of the @CA_Bldg_Trades, @ChrisCHannan! The State Building Trades Council represents California workers doing critical work and is a force in the fight for quality jobs, fair wages, apprenticeships and safe working conditions.

Congrats to George Wiley on his retirement—one of the most influential Capitol staffers on labor, governmental organization & vets policy. Proud to call him my friend. Thank you for all the guidance and for letting me roll with you George!
