In 2020, a British friend who’s lived in the SF Bay Area for decades, said that SF wouldn’t be hit w/Covid so hard, “bc it’s a more educated population”. Ironically, we see little masking here now, bc these “highly educated” ppl believe capitalist Dem politicians don’t lie.🤦🏻♀️

I stand in a room w/70 people, 70 masked. HVAC & air purifiers humming, CO2 <700ppm. Not in San Francisco, where COVlD is surging, but in the Deep South. Levels are much lower. It's a place too many east/west coast "liberals" look down on. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

I used to silently judge anyone who bought pre-cut fruit at the grocery store. It felt like throwing money away to me. "Why spend more when you can buy the whole fruit and cut it yourself?" I always thought. Every time I walked past those little plastic containers in the fridge section, I'd keep going, assuming they were just for people looking for a shortcut.

Also like the roaring 20’s, tho unlike the 1918-20 pandemic, this one hasn’t ended, & ironically, instead of the excitement over industrialization, we’re living the destructive end results of it. And endless wars, to boot.

Now as wildfires rage & the air turns to poison … people are left unprotected

@cdtwriter @danaludwig Yes, me too! Loved the Eaton Centre along with other districts. It's a different world now, don't even venture there now for theatre/ concerts Did really great though, back in the day. I am very content now 😁
