@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ Yes coached by TTU coaches. I’m not sure if you’ve played sports before but typically the athletes have people called coaches on the team. I hope this clears that up for you because you again still seem confused.
English

@cdupe100 @SeeingScarlet_ LOL! "coached by TTU coaches!" Oh... that's rich! I've watched no fewer than 6 games. Talk about someone on the outside looking in. Glasscow NEVER talks to his players and they don't listen. He sits by himself and talks to assistants and umpires! I actually feel sorry for him.
English

@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ They are currently playing at Texas tech, students at Texas tech, and are being coached by Texas tech coaches. So yes they are most definitely associated with the university. I still think you’re a little confused.
English

@cdupe100 @SeeingScarlet_ LOL! Of COURSE they are "on the team". But they have absolutely no alignment, allegiance, or association whatsoever to TTU other than their paystub. They didn't get recruited there. Didn't train or develop there. Weren't coached there. Have no concern at all for Lubbock.
English

@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ Last I checked, according to ncaa rules they are on the team. That isn’t opinion, just purely a fact. I’m not sure what part of that you don’t understand.
English

@cdupe100 @SeeingScarlet_ Paying someone to wear your silly uniform doesn't make them part of a team.
English

@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ But they PLAY for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. That means their current team is the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Not Stanford or UCLA. I hope this helps out. Players who are on Texas techs softball team are playing for Texas tech. 🤯
English

@cdupe100 @SeeingScarlet_ Well, they were RECRUITED, TRAINED, AND DEVELOPED elsewhere. Then corporate pirates swooped in and stole them by tampering and filling their bank accounts to wear that God-awful jersey for a few weeks. If you call that a team.....
English

@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ They are literally Texas tech softball players I think you’re a little confused. They play for Texas Tech, not Stanford or Florida or any of those other schools.
English

@cdupe100 @SeeingScarlet_ Keep telling yourself that. See how many ever return to Lubbock after they use up eligibility or the old lady's money.
English

@TFan1960 @SeeingScarlet_ I think everyone defines TTU as all players who are currently playing for TTU softball team
English

@SeeingScarlet_ Only if you define TTU as: UCLA, Stanford, Florida, SIU, Tennessee, Ohio State, NM State, Cal, & Louisiana, because that's where all but 2 of their players (Toney & Lincoln) were recruited and developed.
English

@PullsFree81349 @PatMcAfeeShow @PeteThamel But we still won’t be able to play him. If we play him and he then is declared ineligible then won’t we basically vacate everything and waste the season?
English

@PatMcAfeeShow @PeteThamel This will be tied up in an injunction until 2027. Sorsby will play the year out before declared ineligible
English

"Brendan Sorsby has not technically been declared ineligible yet but he will be..
It would be surprising to me if there was NCAA clarity by June 30th" ~ @PeteThamel #PMSLive
Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow
"Something would have to radically change for Brendan Sorsby to be eligible.. He can go to the supplemental draft and he would have to declare by June 30th.. I don't believe anybody has been taken in the supplemental draft since 2019" ~ @PeteThamel #PMSLive

@Namurarf @zylerbuchanan Yup definitely got lucky there. Just sucks that we have to deal with the consequences of something that we had absolutely nothing to do with it. Next man up though
English

@cdupe100 @zylerbuchanan Right. As an LSU fan we kinda got lucky that he chose Tech over us. Aside from losing the QB, LSU certainly didn’t need any more NCAA heat. 😂

@Namurarf @zylerbuchanan Yeah I have no idea. I heard it was many bets around the $5-$20 range but I may be completely wrong. Keep in mind this is pre NIL sorsby so it’s not like he’s gonna an insane amount of money to throw around
English

@cdupe100 @zylerbuchanan The highest threshold for punishment per NCAA is $800. He’s said to have made thousands of bets. I’m sure they weren’t $1.00 bets.

@CSOonX What kind of odds can we get on if he plays or gets suspended?
English

@MrJones24074853 @PeteThamel He never played in a game he bet on and he only bet overs. How does that impact the outcome of a game whatsoever?
English

@PeteThamel Gambling is Gambling regardless of the amount treat him just like yall treat all other athletes don't start with the protection narrative
English

Sources: Texas Tech transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby is checking into a residential treatment program for a gambling addiction. He’s under NCAA investigation in the wake of the discovery of Sorsby making thousands of bets via a gambling app. espn.com/college-footba…

@REDMFRAIDER11 @flatland_sports Extremely turnover prone, minus defender, and a streaky shooter. Rooting for him but our fanbase has been saying some nonsense 😂
English

@OldRowGunsUp Doesn’t matter, let’s just whip some ass in the postseason
