It was fun catching up with President @White70L at our annual ASGCA meeting in San Francisco. @ASGCA @GCSAA

Spent this week playing in the sand with @ClayPayneTurf and @VartyGolf on the final phase of construction at Buffalo Dunes. We are rebuilding the entire course for less than $500,000. It so much fun to work in the Kansas sand dunes. @ASGCA @GCSAA

Exciting times this week for CE Golf Design as two of our designs are hosting Kansas Amateur Golf Championships. The men’s event is at Topeka CC and the women’s at Lawrence CC.

Island View GC bunker renovation by Hartman Companies is progressing nicely even with record rains in Minneapolis. Kurt Knox has the course in great shape.

@Mitchmullen15 Back nine was the original 9 and front was built later. We rebuilt all of the greens on the back nine and shifted green locations around with some routing changes. All new tees, bunkers, creeks and cart paths for the entire course. It was a major renovation.

@ce_golf Good to know! I saw that you had worked on it, but couldn’t find any information on the extent. I figured you at least touched most of the bunkers. Was the routing changed?

Carthage Municipal GC - Carthage, MO Tom Bendelow, 1937 Very pleasantly surprised by this golden age muni outside of Joplin. Excellent terrain, with hills throughout and multiple creeks coming into play. Very good greens and bunkering.

Our new Par 3 Course at Oakwood CC finished on Friday before the rains. @DarylPearson4 did a tremendous job on a difficult site. @RonWhittenGD, Brent Hugo and I are excited for this course to open Summer 2024.

It was great to be back at The Killearn Club in Tallahassee this week to meet with my client and the management team. We also conducted 6 walking tours of the front nine consisting of 25-30 prospective members in each group to showcase the project. Tons of excitement!

Our bunker renovation is off to a good start with the Par 3 holes at Sykes/Lady Overland Park GC. Fleetwood Services and @dougmelchior staff are doing some great work here!

The last green has been shaped by @omajohnc and @DarylPearson4 at our new Par 3 course at Oakwood CC. @RonWhittenGD and I are excited about this new course.

A busy two day visit to Buffalo Dunes for more green renovations. Pics of three finished greens with the start of a new 4th green. Always a fun trip to Garden City to collaborate with @VartyGolf and @ClayPayneTurf

#7 pond on the new Oakwood CC par 3 course excavated and just needs a few thousand more yards of clay on the dam to get it up to elevation. It’s going to be a spectacular hole when it’s finished. ⁦Thanks ⁦@omajohnc⁩ for all of the help.

#1 bunker project=complete. We stripped out the old bunker face & traffic areas, removed old sand & liner and re-graded. Once prepped, we put in new liner & sand (upgraded sand like new bunkers), installed fescue on bunker face and bluegrass in traffic areas. Huge improvement!

Ron and I had a great visit at Topeka Country Club this morning. Kent @KentMorgison has the golf course looking great. @RonWhittenGD @ASGCA

I had a great day at Cooper’s Hawk in Melbourne, Arkansas shaping 5 Bunkers yesterday. I have a great appreciation for all of the golf courses shapers that I work with after a day on the dozer. The owner Jim Cooper and Travis the superintendent were work with me. A fun project!
