The notion that developing countries can bypass manufacturing — and leap straight to services instead — ignores how every major economy actually developed.

3500 years ago The great prophet, Abinajai Adonijah... Said he saw a country called The Great Commonwealth of Kenya in his dreams... "Endless rolling hills, abundance of biblical proportions". Those were his exact words

All national schools and most if not all extra county schools charge parents extra levies for special programs. Most of these funds cater for; extra classes, student and staff motivation. Performances will be much darker if the government indefinitely outlaws such activities.

A typical data centre like an AWS or Google Campus is usually between 10MW to 150MW per building. Now one campus has multiple buildings like 10 or so, totalling to up to 500MW or which becomes a region. So really, 100MW is not per region, just a segment of the underlying region. In reality, and in evolving infra, a single region could need up-to 1000MW. Kenya’s current centres like those in Limuru, Mombasa and Nairobi CBD are of a very small size and may be not rank as hyper scale, yet.
Njambi@A_Njambi

YOU ARE LYING!!!!! USIDHANI UTATUBEBA UPUZI HAPA! A HYPERSCALE DATA CENTER IN KENYA ONLY NEEDS AT MOST 100MW I HAVE WORKED WITH GLOBAL DATA CENTERS AND I KNOW WHAT I AM SAYING! AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION WE ALREADY HAVE DATA CENTERS IN KENYA

Huge oil blocks of the Somalian coast, big gas deposits off the Tanzanian coast and as we all know, gas deposits are abound too, off the coast of Mozambique...BUT it is at the Kenyan coast where the geology of minerals stops? Let's hope something pops up!

seriously, working with AI is MISERABLE for one and only one reason: having to re-explain the same thing "oh yeah this new session obviously doesn't know what proper case trees are, so let me explain it for the 5000th time in my life" I'm tired AGENTS.md doesn't solve this because it is impossible to fit the entire domain knowledge without nuking the context - it would be 1m+ tokens worth RAGs don't solve this, the agent won't search unknown unknowns SKILLs don't solve this unless I keep like a collection of 1750 skills with specific cuts of domain knowledge for each possible subset of my domain that I might need in a given chat, but that's a lot of manual work recursive LLMs or whatever don't solve this for the same reason, you can't dump a domain book and expect the AGENT will magically guess that it is supposed to search for a specific bit knowledge. unknown unknowns fine tuning doesn't solve this (OSS models suck and OpenAI / Anthropic gave up on user fine tuning) I honestly think a good product around fine tuning on your domain would be a major hit and an underdog lab should take this opportunity

Operating a rationed water supply system in the days when govt used to run them was challenging. One time the principal of Marsabit Boys called me saying they had no water and the boys wanted to go on strike. Told him it was very good. Let them do so, that Maji House may know we have a water problem. Told him we had water left only for the hospital and prison, the most vulnerable places. At the beginning of the financial year O&M money would be a problem before funds are disbursed. Once I negotiated with an agency that gave us 3 weeks worth of fuel for operations. Then I immediately wrote a telegram to the PS that I'll shut down the supply in 4 days if we did not get any funds😀. This ensured we received funds before the stock ran out. Running govt institutions is no joke

Parents should strictly stick to Ministry of Education school fees guidelines. Principals, on the other hand should strictly stick to the money the government has sent to them. When they run out of money, close the school and send students to the Statehouse to learn from there.
