*Cydna Substation, Bramley East Distributor:* The outage is due to multiple faults affecting customers in Waverley, Savoy, and possible surroundings.
During the restoration process, the repaired fault between Ben Street and Athol Street meggered out of phase. A contractor will be attending to correct the phasing. The team will proceed working on restoring mini-substation N583 on Scott Street.
Mini-substation N330 on Burns Street will remain off until a replacement unit has been sourced.
Further updates will be communicated as they become available.

Operators are aware that some areas did not restore following the are wide outage affecting customers feeding from Roodetown, Kloofendaal, Ontdekkers, Nursery, Florida North, Peter Road Substations.
One team remains on site monitoring the load affecting areas such as Wilgeheuwel and surrounds while the other team is investigating areas such as Weltevredenpark that did not restore.
The initial outage was caused by faults on the 88kV double circuit overhead lines.
Further details will be shared after the tests are completed.

Full supply has been restored to customers feeding from the Roodetown, Kloofendaal, Ontdekkers, Nursery, Florida North, Peter Road, Penny Street, Manufacta and Roodepoort substations and switching stations.
The outage was caused by faults on the 88kV double circuit overhead lines.

@CityPowerJhb Also I suspect that flash occurred last night when the team tried to reconnect us. I did see the lights come on for a split second at 21:30. If the residue was there from before, surely they would not have tried connecting us.

The Dry Ice team is currently on-site cleaning the flash at the substation. Once the cleaning process is complete, repair work will commence.
At this stage, the estimated time of restoration is not yet available.
