@MarchDark37 @tboydetective I've moved a lot so I've attended churches all over the country so I can firmly say that the two most popular dates are Easter and Christmas. Unfortunately, a lot of Catholic's skip Good Friday and many other days of obligation.

@mathrockenjoyer I get that, having read the books a lot, but that's not how he's described in Dune. I think the Villeneuve adaptation better captures how Herbert wrote him. He's never described as having pustules all over his face. Sure, it's an artistic choice, but I don't have to like it.

I think he has as close as you can get to perfect filmography but his refusal to really engage with race as a topic (and not having any central black characters in his work) when he made his bread and butter exploring America’s dark undercurrent stains it a bit. Now what.

@thrdplanet But to your point, talk to your doctor about how this is mentally affecting you in a calm manner. They can also fight on your behalf with the state and insurance. We called and fought with insurance people on the phone all the time at the clinic I worked at.

@thrdplanet My son needed vision-saving surgery when he was a baby. Literally would have been permanently blind without it. Called up the Medicaid office about it since it was going to be $50,000. They told me they’d cover 100% or 0% but would only decide AFTER the surgery. WHAT are we doing
