ISWAP is trending because the Islamic terrorist group today released a footage showing how they attacked 4 different Nigerian Army camps in one night. Translation: “Allahu Akbar. God Almighty has brought us here and has chased them away. All the vehicles you are seeing here belong to the Nigerian Army..” The attacked military camps are in Mainok, Jakana, Marte, and Konduga in Borno state on March 5 from 10pm to 3am in a coordinated attack they are calling “Burn The Camps” Commanding Officer LT. Colonel Si Iliyasu and six others were killed in Konduga, with 17 many armored vehicles, 1 armored tank and their camps burnt. A Civilian Joint Task Force commander’s home was also invaded. For souvenirs, they took four military vehicles and 68 motorcycles. — All of these happened only at Konduga army base, in one night! ISWAP took credit for it the next day. In Marte they were not very successful because of an air strike. But they killed 3 soldiers, carted away large amounts of weapons and ammunition, along with five vehicle. In total, more than 40 soldiers were killed in that single attack on March 5th. Just yesterday ISWAP attempted another cordinated attack on Goniri, Benicheikh and Kukawa army bases. Thanks to airstrikes, the casualties aren’t as much, but heavy. In the footage, ISWAP flaunted a large cache of weapons, ammunition, military vehicles, and over 70 motorcycles seized from the Nigerian Army, they vowed they are not yet done..
