Eoin McElholm (Tyrone/Loughmacrory) McElholm was named Under-20 Footballer of the Year after Tyrone’s Ulster and All-Ireland triumph at that level in May. The dynamic centre-forward scored an impressive 6-24 during the campaign, finishing as the competition’s top scorer. He was later handed his first senior Championship start in Tyrone’s All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry. The 20-year-old then played a pivotal role in Loughmacrory’s historic run to their first-ever Tyrone Senior Football Championship. He was the team’s creative spark throughout the season and was named Man of the Match in the county final.

Eoin McElholm has now scored 4-15 across three All-Ireland finals. 2-3 today, 0-7 in last year’s final and 2-5 in the 2023 Hogan Cup decider. And every single point and goal making up that tally of 4-15 came from open play.
