So this is what they call “great communication skills”? A man who can recite figures like morning devotion but cannot explain how his political path leads to victory without insulting everybody else?
Peter Obi’s biggest talent is packaging ordinary statements as revelation. Mention China, quote Bangladesh, add small Egypt, sprinkle “go and verify,” then supporters will start screaming “goosebumps.” But Nigeria is not looking for a TED Talk president. Nigeria is looking for a leader who understands structure, coalition, security, economy, federalism, national unity and the brutal electoral map of 36 states plus FCT.
Clarity of thought? Where was that clarity when he jumped from party to party looking for the easiest presidential ticket? Where was that clarity when he avoided hard coalition questions? Where was that clarity when internal democracy became inconvenient because every political road must somehow end with Peter Obi on the ballot?
Precise understanding of the issues? Then let him precisely explain how he will win the North. Let him precisely explain how he will protect votes beyond social media strongholds. Let him precisely explain how he will build a national coalition without treating every other opposition figure as a stepping stone. Let him precisely explain how “New Nigeria” can be built on entitlement, emotional blackmail and a fan base that abuses every region that refuses to worship him.
Facts and figures are good, but leadership is not a school debate. You can have facts and still lack political wisdom. You can speak smoothly and still be electorally weak. You can quote statistics and still fail to understand that Nigeria is not governed from a spreadsheet.
The real problem with Obi’s movement is that they confuse performance with preparedness. Once he speaks calmly, they call it brilliance. Once he mentions numbers, they call it policy. Once he criticizes others, they call it courage. But when you ask for structure, national spread, coalition discipline and a realistic road to victory, the whole conversation turns into insults.
Nigeria does not need a president who gives supporters goosebumps while giving opposition strategy headache. Nigeria needs maturity, depth, reach, courage and a serious plan that can survive beyond campaign applause.
“New Nigeria is POssible” sounds nice.
But Nigeria cannot be rebuilt with hashtags, imported statistics and political entitlement dressed as excellence.

Peter Taiwo and Ifechukwu Dennis are not the originators of that AI doctored voice note of president Tinubu.
Like i said on my post, that the person might be innocent, but by an orders from above, they needed someone to be used as scapegoat.
There is a 3rd person still out there from whom the video originated from. He is the real culprit.
Peter Taiwo and Ifechukwu Dennis are mare victims of circumstance here, but ignorance is not an excuse in the eyes of the law.
If they should arrest Ifechukwu Dennis, then they must arret Peter Taiwo. If they should parade Ifechukwu Dennis, then they must parade Peter Taiwo. If they should prosecute Ifechukwu Dennis, then they must prosecute Peter Taiwo.
The truth in all of these is that there is a real culprit who created the AI doctored voice note of president Tinubu, and the person is still out there, arresting him will bring out the truth, and a closure to this case.
Sadly, since the police who arrested Ifechukwu Dennis couldn't finish their investigation before rushing out to the public to announce the arrest, and since the likes of Bayo Onanuga had already amplified it, they have given a rare opportunity for the actual culprit to run into hiding.
We can do better.

Please release these children for the sake of our shared humanity
I am deeply shocked and heartbroken by the condition in which these abducted school children are, as seen from their flagellated bodies. It is a painful reminder of the depth of insecurity in our land.
I have always made it clear that the society we abuse today will take its revenge on our children tomorrow. When I first began making that statement, some of these children were not even born. This is a classic example of how the abuse of governance and society today can produce devastating consequences long after the abusers are gone.
It is on the same line that I argue that the loans our leaders take today will hurt our children in the future, as many of them will mature for repayment and consequences long after we are gone.
To those holding these children, I make a direct appeal to your conscience. Remember that these are innocent children - sons and daughters of people who have placed their hopes, dreams, and entire future in them. In every one of them, you will find reflections of your own children, your own family, and your own humanity.
No grievance, no hardship, no justification can ever outweigh the sanctity of a child’s life and innocence. Whatever path has led to this moment, there is still room for remorse, for humanity, and for a change of heart.
I therefore appeal to your sense of mercy: release these children immediately. Let them go. Return them safely to society to reunite with their families. -PO

Who else should take the accolade for the phenomenal growth of the stock market, the ASI moving from 53,000 points to 250,000 in three years? Government policies and the reforms being implemented on several fronts are responsible for the growth and the mega profits and dividends that listed companies are recording. A newspaper captured it well by describing the phenomenon as TINUBULL. Your hatred and denial of the greatest reformer in Nigeria's history have been taken too far. I can never attribute the success of the NGX solely to Tinubu. The growth we’re seeing in the stock market is largely driven by ordinary Nigerians who continue to patronize listed companies despite the economic hardship. People are buying food at higher prices, paying more for fuel, diesel, electricity, internet data, banking services, and other essentials. Not because they want to, but because they have no choice but to survive. Those higher revenues eventually reflect in the earnings of many listed companies, which then support stock prices and market growth. In many countries, when the stock market reaches new highs, the benefits are felt by ordinary citizens through stronger purchasing power and improved living standards. In Nigeria, many citizens are still struggling despite the market’s record performance. So when I look at the NGX’s all-time highs, I see the resilience and sacrifice of ordinary Nigerians reflected in those numbers. Full stop.

Some of the Images being shared as those of the kidnapped schoolkids of Oyo state were of maltreated kids in Mali
Pictures taken in Mali in June 2020, when a teacher flogged his young students, have been shared on social media to make people believe they are the pictures of the abducted Oyo students, an analysis by Africa54Research has revealed.
The distributors of the images are most probably terrorists' sympathisers, out to sow fears in our society and paint the government and the security forces black, as the government is making efforts to get the kids and their teachers released.

I watched a video in which an Igbo man confronted a woman for wearing an Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu APC T-shirt in public. The man repeatedly questioned the woman about how she felt wearing the shirt while walking in public. The incident occurred in a busy market area in lagos It seems these Obedients want to cause trouble that they will not be able to handle again in Lagos. When did it become a crime if someone makes a choice? I will request many caps of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, put them on my head every day, and brand a car with Tinubu's image for a second term to move around.
