Did you know I have a spoonflower shop? I've been slowly adding new patterns to it; today I'm releasing this LARGE scale hand-painted lily pad design!

@LatticeParable I know that paper and i can see how it is *destroying* your markers esp in that first pic---its a pretty common mistake! with 74 gsm paper the ink will actually blend with other colors the way you see in my work; the mixed media paper is so thick that the ink just pools.

@celinedraws been using canson mixed media bc those were the books ive gotten used to drawing in but there is some bleed I have to account for if I’m trying to get something small done for sure

@LatticeParable just make sure you're using the right paper! Strathmore Vision Sketch is the only kind i use for markers; try to find something with a similar weight: dickblick.com/items/55x8-50l…
