Saddened to continue to see public school educators being attacked, especially as they enthusiastically await and prepare to begin a new school year. I've been an educator since 2002, and I've never witnessed any woke agendas. What is taught are the TEKS ~ those are the basics of learning that come from TEA. New laws I signed this year will remove woke agendas from Texas classrooms and help strengthen parents’ rights as the primary decisionmakers in their child’s education. We won’t stop there. To fully secure parental rights in Texas, we MUST deliver school choice to every family.
