On 23rd Nov, MARD-IGGMC & Central MARD met Hon’ble CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis at his Nagpur residence, demanding immediate action against the Forensic Medicine HOD for alleged sexual & mental harassment of residents. Letter submitted to CM.

PRESS RELEASE Central MARD has reported serious allegations of sexual harassment, academic misconduct & mental harassment in the FMT Dept, IGGMC Nagpur. We have requested: • Immediate securing of digital evidence • Formation of an impartial POSH Committee (50% women) • Temporary removal of the accused from administrative duties pending enquiry Official communication has been submitted to IGGMC & the Hon’ble CM. If not addressed in 7 days, resident doctors may intensify further democratic protest. Central MARD remains committed to safety & justice for all resident doctors.
