@ceobmt No it's not, it's a modernist take. Race mixing isn't sinful, but it's highly highly unrecommended. Even recently by Catholic clergy it was highly unrecommended. It's just because everyone is brain raped by liberalism that we think it's ok.

This is not true, and you also seem to have forgotten that the general obligation to vote, which is serious, presupposes a worthy candidate to elect, importantly by Catholic standards. I would encourage you to familiarize yourself with the principles of moralists, below. Since Trump is an unworthy candidate (no honest man would deny), the burden of proof is on those who would vote for him as the “lesser of two evils”, whether it can be proved or not is a different question, to demonstrate the excusing cause for their voting for an unworthy candidate. The burden is not on those who propose abstention, as many mistakenly think. Material cooperation with evil is only lawful when there is some proportionate reason, meaning it justifies the toleration of evil. Also noteworthy is that the moral calculation must not look at the narrow condition of “lesser of the two evils” to the exclusion of other important factors— like giving scandal, encouraging bad men, bad influence on others, or further solidifying the wicked, liberal principles that underlie American society.

One year ago today Pope Francis passed into his eternal reward. I converted under his pontificate as a skeptic, but became extremely fond of him. His spiritual guidance molded me into a better Catholic, no doubt he was very influential to my spiritual life. Rest in peace
