This week, WV State Superintendent Michele Blatt testified before the US House Committee on Education and Workforce on "Building an AI-Ready America: Teaching in the AI Age".
It was fantastic to hear the Superintendent spotlight our AI Ready Skills credential program in collaboration with @PlayCraftLearn, specifically the student impact and engagement:
"Our middle school students are earning micro-credentials through Prodigy Learning and Minecraft... Our students, especially the ones that have engaged with some of our statewide pilots, feel very engaged with their learning. An example would be with our Minecraft Education. They've been able to engage in a game that they were familiar with while learning the different parts of AI and understanding that.”
We are proud to partner with @WVEducation and @MicrosoftEDU to offer AI skilling opportunities to students in the State of West Virginia.
