@rickwhufc Our best ones go too Man City like mubuma and mukasa or united like jj Gabriel or to Arsenal Chelsea etc. a few slip the cracks but maybe 1 or two of the current crop in our squad will be a premier league player.

Agree with this but what are Man City doing that we aint?
Our youth teams have been at a really decent level for a few years, winning against their age groups but they don’t seem to make that big step like the Man City boys do, they sell them for insane numbers we get peanuts

BREAKING: West Ham have submitted a couple of bids for Belgian international Arne Engels, and although Celtic have turned them down, the figures are not thought to be too far away in value.
The Club will continue to work on a deal, and player is open to the move.

Arne Engles has already verbally agreed to join West Ham, and this has been in place for a number of weeks.
The club has similar deals in place with other players, and terms with the players are sorted.
Terms are thought to be close to being agreed with Celtic.

Deep playing CM, will control games like Fernandes did but not get loads of G/A. We have no players in the squad who can run a game or create anything centrally. Smart signing if we get him

I get he wants to play high level football, but leaving Celtic who are going to be playing European football for a Championship side is crazy.
Should very easily be moving to an EPL, Serie A or Ligue 1 side who would be in Europe and competing.

A number of Premier League clubs also hold an interest in the Belgian international, with Nottingham Forest having a £25m bid rejected on Deadline Day in February.
Engels has two years left on his contract.
