That’s unfortunate. I don’t listen to any of those podcasts so I wouldn’t know personally. Choose your go-to podcasts lists carefully. Examine where your favorite podcasts get their funding / sustainability.

Bindings have been tricky in the Composable Architecture. At first they were verbose, then we made them ergonomic, but there are still gotchas. Well, all of that changes with the new @​Observable macro. Now bindings can be derived directly from the store with very little work.

Friction is the enemy. Also, ditch Jira. For the tech debt (and other) issues you can't fix right away and do want to create and track an issue for, you don't want to spend 5 minutes per ticket.

Hypothesis: the moment a team adds the requirement that each PR/commit should be related to a Jira issue, it will start accumulating even more tech debt than before. This requirement adds a penalty for making small, unrelated improvements that get the project in a better shape.

@collindonnell Whenever I use a computer that doesn’t have one installed, it feels broken. For what it’s worth, Windows now includes one, which if I recall correctly isn’t enabled by default, but easy to toggle from whatever they call system preferences over there.

@KatVellos A bit of a non-answer, since none of them are narrators for more than one book, but one thing I really enjoy is listening to memoirs narrated by the author/subjects. Matthew McConaughey's Greenlights, Obama's A Promised Land, and Dave Grohl's The Storyteller stood out recently.
