🇺🇸🇮🇷 326 days. The longest U.S. carrier deployment since Vietnam. The USS Gerald R. Ford left for a routine Mediterranean rotation in June 2025. It came home having cycled through Venezuelan tensions, Red Sea operations, and the Iran war. Every one of the world's current crises is on that ship's logbook. Absolute unit. Hegseth was on the pier at Norfolk today to welcome the Gerald R. Ford strike group home.

I’m voting for @MattMahanSJ because CA needs results. 70% of 4th graders aren’t at reading level. @GavinNewsom is posting about throwing money at the problem rather than addressing the root cause. We need a governor who delivers improvements, as matt did as a governor and as a teacher himself. Plain and simple.

This is because the California Public Utilities Commission is pushing toward building electrification and strict utility regulations, they don’t want you to use gas
For extensions property owners often pay to run new pipe under their streets and driveways. After permits costs frequently exceed $20k–$50k+
Here’s where it gets borderline criminal
Since 2023, California eliminated subsidies, like line extension allowances that used to offset costs for gas hookups, putting the full cost to the applicant to discourage gas expansion and encourage all-electric builds
